This startling revelation came on Showtime’s Inside the NFL. Having completely forgotten that Mandarich went to Michigan State, why not look at how some Spartans have fared in the NFL? Good pros: Plaxico Burress, Derrick Mason, Andre Rison, Julian Peterson, Flozell Adams. Busts: Mandarich, Charles Rodgers, TJ Duckett, and Tony Banks. (Don’t even argue Duckett. He went 18th. [...]

From the Denver Post this afternoon: “During the morning workout, the Broncos’ defense was getting the better of the Cowboys’ offense when tempers flared. Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams yanked the helmet off Broncos’ defensive tackle Marcus Thomas and swung it in a threatening manner. Some pushing, pulling and cursing followed but order was restored without [...]

The Dallas Cowboys were in shorts and shoulder pads this morning and were without both starting tackles on offense, Flozell Adams and Marc Colombo. Doug Free filled in for Flozell and Pat McQuistan was in for Colombo . Also, Marcus Spears was back at DE and Jay Ratliff was back at NT for today’s practice. I told OG Cory Lekkerkerker before practice that his name was just too long to type and he needed...

There should be no doubt in anyone’s mind that Bill Parcells completely rebuilt the Dallas Cowboys during his four year stay as head coach. Only four players remain on the Cowboys from the 2002 roster: Greg Ellis, Andre Gurode, Flozell Adams and Roy Williams. Parcells was able to revamp the team and while there were certainly a few mistakes made, a lot of the work was done through successful drafts....

A few of the so-called "experts" have put together some mock drafts that have Dallas taking an offensive lineman in the first round of this year's draft. At first I was incredulous, especially seeing that these mocks came well after the Cowboys had re-signed Flozell Adams. The Cowboys will be fielding the same starting offensive lineman two years in a row for the first time in a long while this year....

It's official. The Cowboys will be training in Oxnard this year. Read about it here and here. Here’s a better breakdown on the Flozell Adams deal. The six-year deal Flozell Adams signed with the Cowboys will carry cap numbers of $3.6 million in 2008 and '09. Adams got $13 million to sign and guaranteed $1 million base salaries the next two years. Adams will receive $22.5 million in the first three...

Tony Romo won't have to worry about who is blocking his blind side. His faith will remain in Flozell Adams. The Dallas Cowboys re-signed the four-time Pro Bowl left tackle Thursday afternoon, hours before he would've hit the open market in free agency. Terms were not immediately available, but the team called it a long-term agreement that likely guarantees Adams will finish his career in Dallas. "I'm...
