Saints Center Goodwin Injured New Orleans Saints starting center Jonathan Goodwin did not practice Thursday when the Saints continued their preps for Sunday’s game with the San Francisco 49ers, bringing to 14 the number of players on the injury report. Just in case you guys might have missed this one. It's getting laughable now.

David Newsom's manly meet and greet with Jonathan Goodwin, the brain trust behind biodiesel muscle cars, made us think of the ladies out there. Singer Neil Young is reinventing himself as an eco-friendly pioneer - by developing a car that runs on electricity. The 62-year-old has teamed up with mechanic Jonathan Goodwin from Wichita, Kansas, to turn his 1959 Lincoln Continental to a battery car - spending $120,000 on the project. And he wants to create a whole range of electric cars. He tells the Wichita Eagle newspaper, "Jonathan and this...

Goodwin celebrates good win (dailylife.com) This is funny. Right after I comment on the status of our situation at the center position in my last post, the Times-Pic came out with this article on Jonathan Goodwin. I don't really have much to say, I think it just backs up everything I briefly mentioned in my last post. Pretty weird. Anyway, this is good news. Goodwin sounds hungry. The way Goodwin...

Filed under: Saints , NFC South , New Orleans It took a while for the Saints to start locking down their own free agents, but they're picking up steam. Yesterday they announced two re-signings on the offensive line -- backup center Jonathan Goodwin and starting left guard Jamar Nesbit . Goodwin's signing could mean the end of a third lineman, free agent starting center Jeff Faine . Word on the street...

Filed under: Saints , NFC South , NFL Video , New Orleans Yeah, this is slightly embarrassing. Earlier in the season, when Jeff Faine missed time with an injury, Jonathan Goodwin won a lot of Saints over. He played much stronger than Faine, who is stuck with the label "finesse center." Faine's great, don't get me wrong, but who doesn't love a good mauler? So if you're Faine, and you get pushed around...

Jonathan Goodwin, an underground car modder in Wichita, Kan., takes the hugest American cars on the road and rejiggers them to get up to quadruple their normal mileage and burn low-emission renewable fuels grown on U.S. soil -- all while doubling their horsepower. The result thrills eco-evangelists and red-meat Americans alike: a vehicle that's simultaneously green and mean.
