Q: Will the Bears rush the ball well enough to protect the passing game? A: QB Kyle Orton threw for 334 yards and two TDs so apparently the 36 yards each Matt Forte and Kevin Jones rushed for was enough. For whatever it is worth, Orton has played well enough that he is a viable option in weeks that fantasy teams' two QBs are unavailable. This was his third consecutive week with at least two TD passes....

If you’ve got Matt Forte on your fantasy team, you better start him this week. Kevin Jones might even be a decent play in a deep league this Sunday against his former team. The Lions have given up over 200 yards per game rushing, far and away the worst in the league, and I don’t [...]

As Bears coach Lovie Smith has watched film of the Lions this week, he has seen plenty of one of his own players. In the last game between the teams, the Lions' 16-7 victory Oct. 28 last season at Soldier Field, running back Kevin Jones had 23 carries for 105 yards and a touchdown. But the Lions released him in the off-season, and he ended up signing with Chicago.

But Bears running back can do both in matchup against Lions, his old team A phone call or two would have sufficed. That's all Kevin Jones wanted.

Running back Kevin Jones signed with agent Drew Rosenhaus today, giving him seven clients on the Bears. Kevin Jones will be a free agent after this season. This is not a good thing for the Chicago Bears, Rosenhaus tries to get the most money from teams on his players. If Jones keeps performing well, he might get a big contract somewhere else. Look at Bernard Berrian he got his dough with Vikings, Briggs...

The Chicago Bears signed former Detroit Lions running back, Kevin Jones to help a floundering run game. He was signed to a one year deal. Since that time Matt Forte has shown that he is likely the Bears starting running back for some time, but I think Jones will still end up offering up significant contributions to the Bears by season's end. Jones has just switched his agent and is going with, you...

CRM started it yesterday, so I have no choice but to stick with a good thing. You all are to blame for this. Keeley is probably tired of gracing these pages on weekends where your’s truly hosts TBL, but I won’t allow my colleague to one-up me. I haven’t figured out how you all are to [...]

Well, we experienced an exciting and goofy preseason game last night. Our offense was spectacular (compared to previous Bears standards), the defense was awful, and our special teams was great without the performance of #23. Here are some quotes from Lovie, Orton, Kevin Jones, Babich, Urlacher, Hillenmeyer, and Dvoracek: Lovie on the offense: "Very pleased. We've run the ball fairly well. Kyle Orton...

I first learned of the Social Capital Markets conference from organizer Kevin Jones , a friend whom I've often run into at various conferences through the years. Last year, Kevin - a principal at Good Capital - began to think that it was time to break down silos and get various 'social enterprise' factions to start talking. The result? A social capital markets conference that's bringing together both...

Taking a look at this article it would suggest that Kevin Jones is not guaranteed a roster spot and whether he is will be based on his performance in the last two games. It's not like there is a roster spot guaranteed for the former member of the Detroit Lions. Jones will test out his surgically repaired knee for the first time in a game and said he has as much to prove to himself as the team. Jones...

Kevin Jones, who many believe will take over the role of Bears starting running back, will see his first action in this Thursday's pre season game. He will still start the game as backup, but with a line that is letting everybody through, they may need to get him significant time in the next two games to have him ready come the regular season. Kevin Jones is a more than capable starting running back,...
