Gus Frerotte has called out Titans defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch over a low hit that left the Vikings‘ QB curled up in an agonized ball on the LP Field turf. “It was a direct shot,” Frerotte said. “That just isn’t called for in this game. To take and just spear somebody like that. That’s [...]

Critically speaking, I believe there's no bigger matchup on Sunday than the Titan's defensive line, and the Bengals offensive line. Kyle Vanden Bosch recorded the Titans' only sack in last year's 35-6 win over Tennessee, that led to a fumble and a missed 26-yard field goal by the normally always automatic Shayne Graham. But this year, the Titan's defense is better. Last week, Titans defensive tackles...

Filed under: Vikings , NFC North Bryant McKinnie 's four-game suspension couldn't have come at a worse time. There's never a good time to lose your above-average left tackle, but Artis Hicks is going to have to face Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila , Dwight Freeney , Julius Peppers and Kyle Vanden Bosch . Four weeks, four Pro Bowl defensive ends. Could you draw up four tougher tests for the new left tackle? The...

This ought to be a very interesting discussion. Three Titans left defensive ends have garnered Pro Bowl honors and we’ll have to choose the best one. Jevon Kearse (twice), Kevin Carter and Kyle Vanden Bosch were all selected for the Pro Bowl in years when they played LDE.

Before last season Titans defensive coordiantor Jim Schwartz offered a reward to anyone who was able to play at least 90% of the defensive snaps. On Friday he made good on his promise by giving Kyle Vanden Bosch, Keith Bulluck and Cortland Finnegan sledgehammers painted in Titan colors I love what Keith Bulluck said about it: “This is pretty cool,” Bulluck said. “I just hope I can get another four...

Jason Taylor isn't happy in Miami. Taylor might be 33, but he started all 16 games last season and had 11 sacks. How many defensive lineman on the Titans defensive line not named Kyle Vanden Bosch were healthy all season? Can you imagine a pass rush with Taylor on one side, KVB on the other, and The Freak rotating in and out. That pass rush with a healthy Fat Albert in the middle would be a recipie...

Titans DL Kyle Vanden Bosch led the team in sacks in 2007 with 12. He also added 60 tackles and four forced fumbles. This was the second time Vanden Bosch had at least 12 tackles (2005) in his career.

I'm thinking of calling Mario Williams the Susan Lucci of the NFL. In the NFL's own infinite wisdom, Mario Williams was left hanging and dangling out of the AFC Pro Bowl team in favor of Jared Allen, Kyle Vanden Bosch and Jason Taylor. This was despite having 14 sacks this season which is

Last year was the first season since 2001 that Keith Bulluck didn't lead the team in tackles. There were two reasons for that and their names are Albert Haynesworth and Kyle Vanden Bosch. The Pro Bowl duo played in front of Bulluck and the beneficiary was David Thornton, who had 122 tackles as the Titans [...]

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Kyle Vanden Bosch is hot. Were he taking a stance in a batter's box, shooting jump shots from the corners, peering at putts or hitting crosscourt backhands, this would be easier to comprehend.
