Even though the Tennessee Titans are 4-0 for the first time in their 49-year history, cornerback Nick Harper still knows there is a lot of work needed to be done.

Everybody is justifiably focused on Adrian Peterson coming in to town, but something tells me the Titans aren't overlooking studly MLB E.J. Henderson or this celebrated defensive line. In the good news department, Justin Gage returned to practice . Nick Harper didn't, but perhaps that means more run for the impressive (so far) youngster Eric King. Titans back-up QB Chris Simms (that still hasn't sunk...

Terry McCormick's recap which includes the news that Nick Harper suffered a mild concussion on the first defensive play of the game. Hopefully he won't miss much time so we don't have to watch Reynaldo out there chasing receivers. The veteran defensive lineman are impressed with the play of rookie Jason Jones. "Including my rookie year, I've never seen a rookie that far along," said Titans defensive...

Just after 7:00, the Rams and Titans opened up their respective pre-seasons. It was an inauspicious start for the Rams, who went three and out on their first possession of the contest. Nick Harper went down on the opening play after an impressive cut on Rams Tackle Alex Barron. New Titan Chris Carr came back with [...]

Jim Wyatt has his report up from today's practice. The highlights: Cornerback Eric King had a great day on Tuesday, while Vince Young wasn’t so good. King picked Young off twice, two of four interceptions for the quarterback on the day. Cornerback Nick Harper also got into the act, making several nice plays, including a pick on a ball to Lavelle Hawkins. I expect VY's performances to be a bit erratic...

For a change, it looks like the Colts are planning to poach a player from Tennessee, instead of the other way around. The Titans are an organization that has done a good job signing cast-offs from the Colts. David Thornton, Ben Hartstock, Nick Harper, and Corey Simon were all either released or not re-signed by the Colts only to be scooped up by the Titans. Now, it looks like the Colts might set their...

CONVENTION is a word that hasn't featured highly in Nick Harper's life. The son of Manchester folk legend Roy Harper, he hung out with the likes of Jimmy Page and Robert Plant from an early age. He plays here on Sunday.

The play of the secondary was a pleasant surprise this season. When #32 was suspended for the season I thought the Titans were going to have a serious problem at corner. They signed Nick Harper and I felt a little better, but I was dreading the thought of watching Reynaldo Hill chase receivers all over the field for another season. Then they drafted Michael Griffin and announced they were moving him...

It is a bit of a slow news day. Nick Harper returned to practice yesterday. He shared reps with Reynaldo Hill and will be a game time decision. Kevin Mawae and Benji Olson both missed practice yesterday. It appears unlikely that Mawae will play. Olson will be a game time decision, but considering this could be the last game of his career, I expect we will see him in there. LenDale White was limited...
