The folks at Reebok were kind enough to set aside a few minutes for us to chat with Tennessee Titans QB Vince Young. We’re fairly certain that Young has never heard of our site, and the word blog is almost certainly not part of his lexicon. Still, he was kind enough to play along, all [...]

He’s on the promotional tour for something or the other, and a publicist is offering the Titans QB up for a few questions. Any ideas?

The University of Texas has announced they will retire Vince Young's #10 jersey sometime during the upcoming school year. The actual date was not announced. This is a very cool honor for Young, and he is excited: "Man, I'm speechless," Young said. "I want to congratulate all of the UT legends who are having their jerseys retired in all of the sports. It's humbling to be among that group."

Justin Gage busted on the scene last season when many of us thought he was a waste of a roster spot. 2007 stats: Receptions Yards TDs 55 750 2 If you have been keeping track of my "ridiculous" predictions, you know that I said Vince Young would throw for 3,700 yards and 25 TDs. That means that Gage is going to have to step his game up this season. Here are my projections for 2008: 75, 1050, 6 Don't...

I'm pretty sure that doesn't make us all that big, but all the same, some corporate drone nice young woman at the niche marketing firm (Fleishman-Hillard) that Reebok has hired to pimp their shoes saw fit to email us. US! To tell us how awesome Vince Young is going to be in Reebok shoes. Now, I'm not going to click the link, but if you do, it might encourage the powers that be at

Great article by Terry McCormick in this morning's City Paper about the Titans not being able to use the excuse of youth anymore. The past few years we have excused a lot of things because the Titans had one of the younger teams in the league. That is not the case anymore. Vince Young is in his 3rd season as the quarterback. The defense will return 11 of 12 starters from last year's team, and the...

In 2006, the Tennessee Titans took the Ravens to the brink before falling on a missed chip shot field goal, 27-26. In that game, Titans QB Vince Young played like an All-Pro and had the Titans comfortably in the lead deep into the second half. Unfortunately for Tennessee fans, Young returned to rookie form and the Ravens remembered that they were a contender. It was a great comeback and a great win...

The Titans are still looking to get Albert Haynesworth back in the fold for the future, but while they work on that, they made a huge move Friday to protect Vince Young, signing right tackle David Stewart to a six-year deal worth $38.9 million, $10 guaranteed, and a $6 mil signing bonus. That means the team [...]

There's something that compels all of us to subject our significant others to the full force of our hobbies and preferences. Stereotypically, this means that women-folk try to get us to watch shows on Bravo (before you laugh, Project Runway is sort of addictive). On the flip side, your average American male works hard to get their lady friend into their sport by getting them into the garb of their...

Jim Wyatt has his report up from today's practice. The highlights: Cornerback Eric King had a great day on Tuesday, while Vince Young wasn’t so good. King picked Young off twice, two of four interceptions for the quarterback on the day. Cornerback Nick Harper also got into the act, making several nice plays, including a pick on a ball to Lavelle Hawkins. I expect VY's performances to be a bit erratic...
