This is the official thread to discuss any of the Week 5 games, but these games in particular: Tennessee at Baltimore Cincinnati at Dallas Pittsburgh at Jacksonville And, even though we're not playing, as always, GO BROWNS !!!

This week's byes are being taken by the Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders, St. Louis Rams, and New York Jets. With three of these four teams being very disappointing, there are a surprising number of fantasy football starters amongst them. Fortunately, bad teams' fantasy starters tend to be less productive than their perceived values. A Le'Ron McClain or Rudi Johnson can provide enough production...

As the Cleveland Browns sit and rest over the Bye Week while waiting to take on the New York Giants on Monday Night Football (again), it’s understandable that this would be a time of reflection for the Browns organization and the media alike. After all, this season has not exactly turned out like anyone around [...]

He almost played on Sunday, but not quite. Derek Anderson saved his own ass for yet one more week in the NFL as the Cleveland Browns eeked out a victory on Sunday. Mr. Brady Quinn was all ready to take over the squad, but he’ll have to ride the pine for yet another week. Which begs [...]

Fledging unit allows Pittsburgh to record five sacks, force two fumbles In the Ravens' first two games, the offensive line enjoyed moderate success in the run and pass against the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns. That unit faced a much sterner test in the Pittsburgh Steelers, who provided a harsh rebuke in the Ravens' 23-20 overtime loss last night at Heinz Field.

Q: Will 2nd-year QB Brady Quinn take any snaps? A: No he didn't, but QB Derek Anderson turned the ball over deep in Bengals' territory to open the second half down 6-3. Given the Bengals started QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, the close game will not quell the questions surrounding the startign QB job. Q: Can QB Carson Palmer repeat last week's effort and make everyone forget about the first two games of the...

They say a win is a win. How true. No matter how pathetic the Cleveland Browns looked against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon, all that will be noted when people look back on this one is that the Browns came away with the win by the final score of 20-12. Forget the atrocious play [...]

Carson Palmer's sore elbow leaves the winless Cincinnati Bengals with another major worry. Palmer sat out a 20-12 loss to the Cleveland Browns on Sunday because of inflammation in his passing elbow, an injury that the team didn't reveal until late in the week. When he'll be able to play is hard to say.

Not pretty, but for the Cleveland Browns, they will take it anyway they can get it. First they got the help of not having to face Carson Palmer, who was out with a sore elbow, then they got the help of having to face QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. The former Harvard QB was awful, [...]
