Steven Jackson updates used to be kind of a daily, or more, thing around here, but since he signed and the offense scored the suspense is gone. Thankfully. There is a bit of Steven Jackson news to pass along, the Rams running back probably won't play tonight. I say only probably to be technically correct. Based on what Linehan told the NFL network , they don't want to activate him and blow their roster...

Brodie Croyle was in the game for sixteen plays, only attempting four passes within that period. The Rams made similar personnel decisions - the majority of what will be their regular season starters did not play....

But the Chiefs’ other returner, B.J. Sams , injured his hamstring Thursday, and coach Herm Edwards couldn’t predict whether Sams would be healthy enough to play in next week’s season opener. In either case, Edwards said they wouldn’t base a decision whether or not to retain Savage , a rookie free agent, on one play. www.kansascity.com | 08/28/2008 | Returner’s job still up in air for Chiefs
A short game recap will be coming up later this morning. For now, enjoy. After briefly coming back into our lives last year on the set of the "show" Pirate Master , Kansas City Chiefs fans can finally get another fix of the Nigerian Nightmare Christian Okoye. He has his own blog and talks about fantasy football. Expect even bigger things from Little LT . Why "Little"? There’s only one LT in my book...
Kevin Haskin KANSAS CITY, Mo. — There's not much to miss in Arrowhead Stadium this season. Take Thursday for example. Dime-sized hail, driving rain, lightning. Then it got worse following the 91-minute storm delay. The Kansas City Chiefs took the field. Sorry. Cheap shot. Completely unwarranted. Continue reading "Haskin: KC season could be painful"
The Chiefs braced themselves for this season and are moving forward with what they have. But they don't yet know how it will measure up against regular-season competition.
