Greg Norman sat down in the commentary booth during the first round of the Dubai World Championship last week. Norman was there to provide some thoughts on the course the European tour professionals were playing, the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates - a course he designed. After reading the "Sign of the Times" article in Australian Golf Digest recently I wonder just how much "design"...

LEE WESTWOOD HAS CONQUERED all challengers on the Race to Dubai. In fact, the Englishman ran roughshod over a very respectable field that included names such as Harrington, Garcia, Fisher, McILroy, Ogilvy, Kaymer, Casey, Poulter and Els. On Sunday, Westwood capped off a brilliant performance in the Dubai World Championship by carding eight birdies on his way to a 64 and a six-shot margin of victory....

• Englishman two clear as he chases second Order of Merit • McIlroy and Harrington off the pace after significant errors Two days down, two days to go and the only man at the Dubai World Championship not looking at the leaderboard is the man at the top of it. "It's a pointless exercise," Lee Westwood said afterwards. "I've only got enough room in my head for the things that...

Padraig Harrington wants to battle red-hot Rory McIlroy for an incredible Irish double in Dubai. McIlroy had the last laugh at Lough Erne in July. Who will come out on top this time? The Dubliner is gunning for his first tour win for 15 months in the €5m Dubai World Championship at Greg Norman's Earth course. But he's also rooting for the "phenomenal" McIlroy as the Holywood hotshot...

The best 3 golfers of their generation--including arguably the best golfer ever--putting on a dramatic shootout, with Tiger Woods looking the worst of the lot. We are especially thrilled to see Phil Mickelson beating Tiger Woods two times on Sunday at the...

He was referring to the 7,000 Australian golf fans who followed the world’s No. 1 golfer during a practice round in advance of the Australian Masters. TV network helicopters circled above as Tiger and Craig Parry played...

Affair of Sergio Garcia with his girlfriend The news came out yesterday that Sergio Garcia is no longer dating Greg Norman's daughter, Morgan-Leigh, and that he feels it has taken a serious toll on his golf game. As Shane Bacon points out over at Fanhouse, Garcia said before the Masters that he didn't think he could win. As I'll point out, he said at the Players that he wasn't really enjoying the game.
