Paul Quarrington , author of last year's Canada Reads winner, King Leary , has been named the winner of the Writers' Trust of Canada's $20,000 Matt Cohen Award. Quarrington, diagnosed earlier this year with cancer, will receive the award Saturday at Harbourfront Centre's International Festival of Authors. Participants in the event will include Margaret Atwood , Roddy Doyle and Dave Bidini .
