McDonald and Jackman to play

According to Jeremy Rutherford's twitter, both Andy McDonald and Barret Jackman are fit and expected to play today against Atlanta. Question is...where does this leave Lars Eller ? As he was brought up under emergency conditions, does he have to go back to Peoria before being called up again or can the Blues simply switch his status to normal and sit someone like Winchester? I'd love Eller to stay...

Fireworks Guaranteed: Blues at Flyers GDT

by Matt Slocum - AP David Booth found out first hand how hard the Flyers play. View full size photo » The Blues and Flyers have a long history of dislike for one another. A new baby and a shoot with Louise & Rob

Last week at short notice I had a call from Andy McDonald of McDonald Photography to see if I could help him out with a shoot, as his wife had gone into labour with their first child. Of course I duly accepted because as Professional Photographers we do all we can to give the customers the service they expect. So I had the pleasure of photographing Louise and Rob who are a brother and sister who live...

Monday links: Going head first into the week like Andy McDonald into the boards edition

Andy McDonald

In case, like me, you could only listen on the radio last night, you'd have missed the scary sight of Happy Meal crashing headfirst into the boards. Well, here it is: I'm so glad he got up and skated off - admittedly with help - after this. Strickland is reporting that he went to hospital for observation but it's not believed to be serious. This is one guy we simply can't do without at the moment....

Blues Win At Carolina Seemed Easy, Almost TOO Easy...

FF Hockey League Trade 10/27/2009

Xtreme Machine acquires Ryan Getzlaf and Nikolai Khabibulin: Before the Dany Heatley trade, I had Ryan Getzlaf ranked in my top 5 forwards. Seeing him get off to a slow start was just what I needed to make a "Buy Low" offer. Getzlaf got off to a slow start last year as well, but caught on fire the rest of the way and with the improved offense in Anaheim, I'm expecting a 100 point season....
