If you’re a Stars fan, news of Brenden Morrow’s torn ACL is probably the worst thing that could happen next to getting into a drinking contest with Ed Belfour. (Bet a billion dollars on that one.) However, it’s not the end of the world. Really, it’s not. Morrow was hurt late in the third period against the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night. Morrow scored a goal in the Stars' 6-3 loss. Morrow received an instigator in the last five minutes when he fought Kings forward Dustin Brown. NHL rules state that any player instigating a fight in the final five minutes receives an automatic one-game suspension and his coach fined $10,000.
