Anon relaunched

I got an email last week saying that Anon magazine is being relaunched, which is welcome news. I’m not against the traditional model at all, but I don’t think it does any harm to have something different too. Anyway, rather than me rambling on, here’s the (slightly...

Blackhawks Clerical Error May Prove Costly

Image via The Blackhawks proved this past year that they're a team on the rise, and certain moves this off-season suggest the team is intent on building upon their success. But did another, inadvertent action, put their future in jeopardy? The 'Hawks may have bungled the tendering of qualifying offers to their restricted free agents -- clerical work that's typically a formality -- and the result might...

Chicago’s RFA Mistake

The Chicago Blackhawks appear to have made a very big procedural mistake. Six of their players, Cam Barker, Troy Brouwer, Ben Eager, Colin Fraser, Aaron Johnson and Kris Versteeg (many reports have called this group the Chicago Five - it is unclear if that means one of these six is not involved), may have not received qualifying offers correctly. If this is the case, these players would become unrestricted...
