The latest is a system of ranking fighters , one that comes up with Georges Laraque as the NHL's top heavyweight. Here's the list based on the past three seasons: Player Ft In Wt Fights W L...

by Bruce Ciskie Filed under: Ducks , Maple Leafs , NHL Fights , NHL Videos , NHL Discipline Monday night's Maple Leafs win over Anaheim featured plenty of penalties. In fact, five of Toronto's six goals were scored with the extra attacker. Besides Anaheim's trademark undisciplined play, there was also a pretty intense fight. During the first period, Toronto's Colton Orr hooked up with Duck George...
Colton Orr & George Parros battled last night and Orr basically ‘tells’ the linesman, don’t break us up yet. I was watching the Ducks TV feed of the game and they pointed out the officials didn’t make a big deal of the push from Colton Orr.
But take note: Blake, Phil Kessel, Nik Hagman, Mikhail Grabovski, Colton Orr, Viktor Stalberg and Jay Rosehill are the only forwards under contract after this season Mike Zeisberger of the| Toronto Sun notes even more roster changes could lay ahead next season. Doesn't help much for this year...
Is this the day a win comes to Toronto? Is this the day someone scores twice in sixty minutes? In forty minutes? In twenty? Is this the day someone puts more than two points on the board? Is this the day we kill a penalty? Is this the day Garnet Exelby becomes unstoppable? Is this the day we break down and weep unashamedly at the high altar of Joey MacDonald? I wondered aloud (atype?) in the...

Brooks Orpik offers the crazy but sad eyes: -The Penguins' scratches are Chris Bourque and Martin Skoula. -Toronto has scratched Garnet Exelby, former Penguin Wayne Primeau and Viktor Stalberg. - Note: We've...

Terrible reffing aside the Leafs were outshot 28-26 and didn't show any jump until the end of the third - too little too late just like in Washington. Additionally, I didn't see a lot of truculence....
