Kris Newbury played in his fifth exhibition game on Friday night, but he isn't in the Wings' immediate roster plans. The Wings have asked for waivers on three forwards -- Newbury, Jeremy Williams and Evan McGrath -- and defensemen Andy Delmore and Doug Janik. If they clear and there are no other injuries to the Wings, they all will be sent to Grand Rapids.
