The Caps have recalled right wing Graham Mink and he's on the ice for the morning skate. I don't see any other recalls, so I'm assuming that means that Boyd Gordon (back spasms) is good to go....Please click on the title to continue reading this entry.

The Hershey Bears improved to 5-0 (with 29 goals for) tonight after thumping Syracuse 7-1. Alexandre Giroux, Keith Aucoin, Andrew Gordon and Graham Mink each had three points, and Semi Lepisto had a goal, an assist and a plus-four rating (cough sit Erskine cough). But here's the photo of the night, taken by John C. Whitehead of The Patriot-News and capturing Grant McNeill and Jon "Nasty" Mirasty

When you have a good thing going, everyone wants to be a apart of it. Just ask Graham Mink in his brand new blog: Anyone that has been following the Washington organization the past year knows that they are one of the up and coming teams in the league with a lot of positive energy surrounding them. Their rebuilding efforts over the last couple of years are finally paying off now that they have

The team inked Graham Mink and Tyler Sloan, both members of the 2006 Calder Cup champion Hershey Bears (coached by current Caps bench boss Bruce Boudreau). Meanwhile, the much-ballyhooed Marian Hossa signed a one-year, $7.4 million deal with the defending champion Detroit Red...

Are you sitting down? The Caps have signed minor leaguers Graham Mink, a 29-year-old right wing, and Tyler Sloan, a 27-year-old defenseman. Mink, if you remember, was a key player in the Bears' 2006 Calder Cup run....Please click on the title to continue reading this entry.

The Capitals have signed free agent right wing Graham Mink and free agent defenseman Tyler Sloan. Mostly a move to keep some talent in Hershey. It's a minor move, but keeps some depth for the Caps down the road if the injury bug hits. Mink returns to the Capitals system playing only 5 NHL games (all with the Caps). Sloan returns the the Bears after two solid seasons in Hershey. Not really
