Critics were ready to bury the old Red Wings dynasty after a slow start. But a 7-2-1 stretch led by Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk shows this team isn't ancient history, Wes Goldstein says.

Free curly fries for everyone. Henrik Zetterberg with the hat trick to top off a five point night and Wings fans are happy too. Arby’s offers free curly fries if a Wing gets a hat trick.

Letters To A Nimrod First of all… For some reason, you just knew after those three words that you were gonna be irritated back on October 22nd. If someone had just given John Buccigross an open-handed bitch slap right then? All would be well. Didn’t happen. Steve Phillips’ production assistant was busy. Matthew Barnaby was repeatedly stabbing the exclamation point key. No one stopped...

Although a slight exaggeration, this is a team that doesn't normally lose it's seventh game until December! Maybe their slow start was a result of this veteran squad not getting much time off after two straight runs to the finals. Maybe this missed Marian Hossa,...

Wings beat Anaheim 7-4 in what ended up being one of the most exciting games that I've seen in a long time. And while thankfully Chris Pronger wasn't in this game, Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf are starting to get to be just as annoying. They're like your annoying little cousin at Thanksgiving dinner that just won't stop poking you because they think it's funny. Well, it's not funny and neither are...

While all the Conn Smythe trophy talk (playoff MVP) prior to the start of the Stanley Cup finals centered around Detroit Red Wing netminder Chris Osgood, the odds have changed somewhat. Osgood has struggled in a few games and that has allowed other players to enter the fray. Osgood is still a favorite at -200 to take the Conn Smythe but teammate Henrik Zetterberg has seen his odds steepen and is close...
