The network has added all sorts of stats functionality to the SBN Hockey blogs, so I'm just going to try some of that out here. For no particular reason, here's the Canucks' current injury situation, Troy Brouwer's bio info, Pascal Leclaire's statline, the boxscore from last night's Caps-Ducks game and the Oilers' schedule: Injuries: Vancouver Canucks Out (IR / Out / Suspended / Physically unvailable)...

From Ben Marrison, Editor of the Columbus Dispatch: The caller said she is “sick and tired” of our negative coverage of the team, and said we’re trying to drive them out of town. She was particularly irked by the large photo we ran of goalie Pascal Leclaire in Wednesday’s paper, who gave up 7 goals in a loss Tuesday. She said we had the worst coverage of an NHL team of any newspaper. continued... Worth...

The good news was that the Sabres limited Columbus to three quality scoring chances in the first period last night while generating plenty of chances for themselves. The bad news? Columbus scored on all three while Pascal Leclaire was a wall. Game, set and match. The rare thing is that the Sabres didn’t [...]

I love when we win. It makes writing about the game a lot easier. So, let’s talk about the players. Starting with of course goaltender, Pascal Leclaire. Leclaire was great coming off of his injury. He made 36 saves on 37 shots and really kept the Jackets in the game. The only goal he let in was on a 5 on 3. Leclaire showed us, again, why he should be the number one goalie, but, the problem is his health....

As you know, Steve Mason, is coming up to the Blue Jackets. Pascal Leclaire will be out longer than expected, and Norrena hasn’t been that good for us, and Dan LaCosta hasn’t been given a chance, and was sent down when Mason was called up. Mason is not expected to play tomorrow night against the Oilers but start either Friday or Saturday. Aaron Portzline spoke to Scott Howson and Coach Hitchcock about...

from Aaron Portzline of Puck-rakers, Now, Year 8, and what’s up with the Blue Jackets? They’re 3-6. Pascal Leclaire is hurt. They can’t get the puck out of their own end, even with three new defensemen. Fifth-line center Manny Malhotra is in the middle of the No. 1 line. No, wait, Rick Nash is now centering the No. 1 line.... The scene in Nationwide Arena has deteriorated. The Blue Jackets need to...

Pascal Leclaire was injured in the first period and left with 14:33 remaining in the second, due to an apparent ankle sprain. It’s going to be looked at again today, and his status is unknown for tomorrow’s game against the Anaheim Ducks is unknown. If Leclaire is out expect LaCosta to come back up, and Norrena to get the start on Tuesday. Anyway, onto the game. The Blue Jackets took three penalties...
