If goaltender Rick DiPietro were healthy, the focus tonight at Nassau Coliseum would be on his matchup with Vancouver goaltender Roberto Luongo, who was traded by the Islanders just before they made DiPietro the No. 1 pick in the 2000 draft. They had a great matchup last January in Vancouver, where the Isles lost in a shootout two days before DiPietro made his first All-Star team.
