Andrew Alberts didn't know how badly he was injured. He said last year that he felt something was wrong, but he didn't even get a headache for more than a week after he was driven into the boards by Scott Hartnell at center ice in the Wachovia Center last Nov. 26. Hartnell was suspended for two games because of the hit and Alberts kept playing.

NO INTERVIEWS, Scott Hartnell said. He was not prepared to meet his public. Not yet, anyway. "I've got to jump in the shower and do my hair,'' he said as he left the ice during an optional skate yesterday morning.

from Chuck Gormley of the Courier-Post, The Flyers’ rationale heading into the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals that begin Friday night in Washington is simple. If Ovechkin spends more time exacting revenge on irritants such as Mike Richards and Scott Hartnell, he’ll spend less time firing rubber in the direction of Marty Biron. “The big knock on Peter Forsberg was that you could get him playing more...

Hey Peeps and anyone else checking in. A special "Hey" goes out to Hazel Mae. Scott Hartnell claims to be a player who "finishes his checks" - Hartnell was on the receiving end of someone "finishing his check" (flattening him), and that someone was Leafs rookie Jiri Tlusty. Funny thing about Hartnell, being the punk that he is, his first reaction was to hold his face and look at the referee for a...
