WHAT HAPPENED: The Oilers took a 2-0 lead in the first period before Dan Cleary scored at 19:59. Nicklas Lidstrom fired a pass to Todd Bertuzzi from the goal line to the far blue line. Bertuzzi skated toward the net, then passed back to Cleary, who fired a one-timer past goaltender Jeff Deslauriers.
