As expected, Dale Tallon did pull off a trade right before the holiday roster freeze. Jim Vandermeer was traded straight up to the Philadelphia Flyers for left wing Ben Eager. This wasn't the blockbuster move I was hoping for but it's definitely an upgrade for our fourth line. He should be replacing David Koci and Sergei Samsonov. [...]
