Marian Hossa left millions of dollars on the table to play in Detroit. Dan Cleary could have hit the free agent jackpot but took less to stay in Detroit. Red Wings captain Nicklas Lidstrom practiced with a visor this morning at Joe Louis Arena. It was Lidstrom's first time back on the ice since he took a puck to the face in a 3-2 shootout loss to Montreal in the preseason opener on Sept. 24.
