Red Wings forward Dallas Drake decided to end his career as a Stanley Cup champion. Drake, 39, announced his retirement Tuesday during a conference call with reporters. He'll celebrate his first full day of retirement today with the Stanley Cup in his hometown of Rossland, British Columbia.

UPDATED AT 2:17 P.M. -- Red Wings forward Dallas Drake officially announced his retirement today. Drake, a fan of the Green Bay Packers, said fans won't have to worry about him having a change of heart like quarterback Brett Favre.
