You want diversity? Check out the Nashville Predators. No, I’m not talking about Joel Ward or Jordin Tootoo representing various ethnic minorities. The Nashville offensive attack might just be the most diverse in the NHL right now. They’ve managed to score at least 3 goals in every game since the opening loss in St. Louis, and that kind of momentum helps to keep the whole lineup jumping; after only...

I'm not typically one to post gratuitous fight vids, but the tussle below from over the weekend between Nashville's Jordin Tootoo and Atlanta's Boris Valabik is worth your time. First, the tale of the tape: Valabik is 6'7" and got in 17 regular season fights last year, so he (ostensibly) knows how to handle himself. Tootoo is 5'9", had nine fights last season and dated Kellie Pickler. With that

Is there a more controversial Nashville Predator than Jordin Tootoo? His penchant for dishing out big hits without apology puts him at the center of a firestorm at least a couple times each season, it seems. Unlike most other agitators around the NHL, however, Tootoo has recently developed into a more well-rounded player, and looks to provide some offensive punch to go along with his more traditional,...

Dallas Drake, Mark Hartigan and Darren McCarty have maximized their few minutes of ice time, with McCarty coming up with a good scoring chance Monday and pairing with Hartigan on another play to knock the puck off superpest Jordin Tootoo. Drake was a force on the penalty kill and continually tried to stir things up.

from the CP via Yahoo, Aaron Miller missed practice to go to the hospital for shoulder X-rays after taking a hit along the boards from Jordin Tootoo late in Vancouver’s 6-2 victory over Nashville on Thursday. Mattias Ohlund rode the bike a bit but he’s got bone chips in his left knee and is out indefinitely. The Canucks hope the swelling goes down in a few days, otherwise it could be season-ending...
