Red Wings captain Nicklas Lidstrom did not have any wild parties or escapades with the Stanley Cup in Sweden in late July. He simply had a few parties throughout his native country, including in his home.

Federer is Nicklas Lidstrom. They're just the same person. Both are soft-spoken, almost soft looking people. Both make their respective sports look ridiculously easy. So much so, that I think some question the greatness of the athlete.

The Red Wings have signed defenseman Brad Stuart to a four-year deal worth $3.75 million per season, with a no-trade clause the first two years, Stuart said.
