Patrice Bergeron wants to skate, right now, today, which isn't winning him a whole lot of good will with his NHL buddies back home in Quebec City who have their minds fixed on vacation and not vocation. Late June on the NHL calendar is reserved for fishing, backyard barbecues, 18 holes (minimum) of golf, and extra-extra-extra time by the pool.

Elliotte Friedman of HNIC mentioned on the pre-game of the Sharks/Flames game that Patrice Bergeron will see a doctor tomorrow morning and if the doc gives the go-ahead, Bergeron will play tomorrow night for the Bruins against Montreal. The Bruins have been playing for Begeron in this series and if he does come back tomorrow, it could be a huge, emotional factor for the Bruins.

During a sparsely attended practice yesterday at Ristuccia Arena, Andrew Alberts lined up Patrice Bergeron and delivered a pop to the center, a hit that resembled some of the blasts thrown during the first three games of the opening-round Bruins-Canadiens series.

The Boston Bruins say it remains unclear whether center Patrice Bergeron will play again this spring. Bergeron has been held out of the playoffs as a precaution because of the Grade 3 concussion he suffered in October.
