Two years ago, forward Sean Bergenheim failed to sign a contract before training camp in violation of policy set by Islanders owner Charles Wang and wound up playing in Russia and Sweden instead of the NHL. Although Bergenheim recently filed for salary arbitration, agent Todd Diamond yesterday said his client plans to accept the arbitrator's decision rather than seek a better deal in Russia.
