Alan R. Miller, the Birmingham attorney indicted for his alleged role in IndyCar star Helio Castroneves' tax evasion case, has served as two-time Cup champion Jimmie Johnson's lawyer for more than 15 years. Miller was indicted along with Castroneves and his wife, Katiucia, for alleged failure to pay tax on income of more than $5 million.

Helio Castroneves is race driver also, a two-time winner of the Indianapolis 500 no less. He was apparently doing a “sales job” on the “U.S. Gobment.” They ain’t buyin’ it and the taxman cometh!

Greg Biffle is 2-1 in Chase races this fall. He will start Sunday’s race at Talladega just 30 points behind leader Jimmie Johnson. From the sound of it, he would love to leave there just that many points out of the lead. He answered some questions this week.

Carl Edwards left it all on the track... and came up short. I'm sure Edwards fans would have loved to see a victory back-flip, but what I saw was even better. Jimmie Johnson had everybody covered late in the race. He should have driven to an easy eight car length ...
