Congrtat’s to Jimmie Johnson on his thre-peat.

Jimmie Johnson did enough during the Chase to end up on top. Carl Edwards ran out of events to win... leaving him in second place. The presumptive Chase winner, Kyle Busch, never did overcome his early Chase problems. Let me proclaim it here first, Jimmie Johnson will not win four ...

NASCAR caps historic year on down note

Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards opened the 2008 season intent on knocking Jimmie Johnson from the top of NASCAR. They chased him all year, but never quite caught him. That led to a celebratory conclusion to another long season, one that started with the usual hope and anticipation only to end shrouded in the uneasiness of the economic crisis.

Kyle: Go To Your Room

Nascar has decided that Kyle Busch will not be allowed to play with his F1 friends at Toyota. "I don't get to drive the Formula One car anymore" "I have to go to the Nationwide banquet and accept my sixth place awards instead" You know.. for about 8 seconds I almost felt bad for Kyle. I even considered removing him from the wall of hate. But no.. as long as he drives in the worlds most choreographed...

NationWide Series race Homestead.

It was refreshing to see Newman lead some laps and battle with Kyle Busch. Not sure what happened in the end with the car but he finished 11th so it was a good run and better than we've seen for some months now. Remember the 33 car is not one of the better funded teams like Roush, Gibbs and RCR. The 12 car finished 28th 8 laps down. What's new? Congrats to Clint Bowyer . Glad Carl didn't win the championship...

This Is Late In Coming, But Better Late Than Never

I've got to give Kyle Busch credit. Not for winning something like 21 combined NASCAR races this year in all 3 of NASCAR's premier series, although he does deserve credit for that too, but for what he did with his winnings after his last win at Texas in the NASCAR Nationwide race there. With this 10th win in the Nationwide Series Kyle tied former champ Sam Ard for most wins in a season which he established...
