A Russian bidder has reportedly offered to buy 40% of Renault ’s Formula One team, according to Finland’s Turun Sanomat. The deal could potentially result in the Russian Vitaly Petrov’s signing to be Robert Kubica’s team-mate. Rather than serving as advisor to Ferrari ’s Formula One team, Michael Schumacher will now be focusing on developing its future road cars, says the Spanish publication Diario AS. Schumacher, a seven-time world champion, had signed a new three-year contract with Ferrari last September but at the time, his future F1 involvement was not mentioned.
