Rather than serving as advisor to Ferrari ’s Formula One team, Michael Schumacher will now be focusing on developing its future road cars, says the Spanish publication Diario AS. Schumacher, a seven-time world champion, had signed a new three-year contract with Ferrari last September but at the time, his future F1 involvement was not mentioned.

Remember that title-winning Benetton Formula One car driven by Michael Schumacher in 1994? Well, it’s for sale on eBay. To recall, Schumacher drove the Ford Cosworth-powered car to his first of seven world titles. The seller, who is from Toronto, has advertised the car on the German eBay site.

British sports car company Ultima claims to have a Top Gear lap record of 1 min 9.9sec., which beats Michael Schumacher’s 1 min. 10.7sec. lap in a Ferrari FXX. However, Ultima’s attempt was unofficial. Reportedly, Ultima had booked out the test track and completed a circuit in a GTR720 road car with that speed.
