Lee White, president of Toyota Racing Development, said Toyota's departure from Formula One has no bearing on its NASCAR program, but he also said NASCAR should learn from F1's mistakes.
One of the more interesting stories of this week, although not as imporant as Toyota’s exit from F1, was the accusation from Force India’s senior management of concerns regarding the new Lotus F1 teams car. Photos of the windtunnel model of the first Lotus were released a few weeks ago, and a paddock mole rooted out [...]
I'm getting excited about the new F1 2009 game coming out for the Wii. I know, I know, it isn't a 'proper' gaming system and F1 2010 for the PS3 / X-Box will be far better - but I don't own either of those things and that game isn't out in two weeks' time. This is the first officially-licensed F1 game to launch on a non-Playstation system for years (damn that Sony and their exclusivity deal) and even...

But the most hyped scion of racing fame has been Bruno Senna . The nephew of the late, great Ayrton Senna was rated highly by his world-champion uncle and has been on everyone's watch...
The FIA imposed a two-year suspended ban on Renault for being involved in fixing the result of last year’s Singapore Grand Prix. Flavio Briatore and Pat Symonds have received bans from motorsport as well. FIA’s World Motor Sport Council members were in a meeting in Paris recently.
Ferrari is increasing its efforts for teams to be permitted to run three cars in Formula One next year. Although Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo was “very disappointed” that Michael Schumacher won’t be able to race this year, he said that he’s anticipating that Schumacher will be able to do so next year. Di Montezemolo said in La Stampa,
For each race that seven-time Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher will join , he gets a cool one million euro. If he wins, he gets a bonus for the same amount. This is on top of the five million euro per year he gets from Ferrari in his non-driving advisory role. This arrangement is set to be extended beyond the end of 2009.
