Jenson Button joined the Honda Racing F1 Team at the Paul Ricard circuit today for the second day of the test. Taking over the wheel of the RA108, Jenson continued the aerodynamic evaluation which Alex Wurz began yesterday using the short configuration of the adaptable Paul Ricard facility, as preparations continued for the Monaco Grand Prix.

This week?s three-day test will enable the team to prepare for the next two Grands Prix on the Formula One calendar, which take place around the streets of Monte Carlo in Monaco and at the Circuit Gilles Villenueve in Montreal, Canada.

The ING Renault F1 Team resumed its testing programme today, completing the first of three days at Paul Ricard. The team focussed on a busy programme of development work in preparation for the Monaco Grand Prix next week. Lucas Di Grassi was in the cockpit as the team ran on a short configuration of the French circuit to try and simulate the conditions for Monaco next week.

Only three days after the Turkish Grand Prix, Robert Kubica was on duty again for the BMW Sauber F1 Team. The Polish driver covered a total of 124 laps in Le Castellet, France. On one of the short versions of the "Circuit Paul Ricard", Robert today concentrated on set-up work regarding the forthcoming Monaco Grand Prix.

The Honda Racing F1 Team kicked-off the Paul Ricard test session with developed elephant ears on their nose cone. To ensure high downforce, Honda developed endplates for their elephant ears. If the team is satisfied with the test results, the new ears will be introduced during the Monaco GP.

The organisers of the Canadian Grand Prix have confirmed changes to the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit and this after the huge crash of BMW Sauber F1 Team driver Robert Kubica last season. The organisers have changed the wall adjacent to the left-hand kink before the hairpin as was ordered by the FIA

Only three days after the Turkish Grand Prix, the F1 Teams already come back in action at the Paul Ricard Circuit in Southern France. Not all teams will test at Le Castellet but Ferrari, McLaren, BMW, Renault and Toro Rosso are expected to come in action during the following days.
