The World Supersport race at Imola was red-flagged after 11 laps, when Joan Lascorz' Kawasaki blew up and trailed oil round the track. The Spaniard had just taken the lead from Kenan Sofuoglu, and the engine let go as he got on the gas coming out of a corner. The race is due to be restarted at 2:20pm local time, and the result will be decided by aggregate result.

Yamaha's Cal Crutchlow dominated practice for the World Supersport class once again, but unlike yesterday, he didn't have it all his own way. Ten Kate Honda's Kenan Sofuoglu shadowed Crutchlow closely, occasionally closing to within one hundredth of a second before Crutchlow pulled out a gap again. Joan Lascorz was the perennial 3rd place man on the Motocard Kawasaki, while Massimo Roccoli finished...

With the rain gone and the Nurburgring circuit now dry, if a little cold, conditions for motorcycle racing have improved immensely in Germany's Eifel mountains. Those conditions are irrelevant to Cal Crutchlow, however, as the young Briton continues to dominate whatever the weather. In the dry, Crutchlow extended his advantage to almost 2 seconds over the rest of the field, a prospect which must strike...

Sunday was all about Ben Spies' domination of his home WSBK round as the Texan was simply unstoppable. Once again we had weather that started clear and grew increasingly cloudy as the hours passed. Spies lead each of the three starts into the first corner. Within a few laps he'd gapped those chasing him and seemed to be running away into the distance. Last year's double-winner Carlos Checa was able...
