TALLADEGA — After being released by Chip Ganassi Racing at the end of the 2007 season, David Stremme was announced earlier this month as the new test driver for Roger Penske Racing. Speculation immediately began that Stremme might be poised to replace Penske's Sam Hornish Jr., an open-wheel racing champ struggling through his rookie season on the Cup circuit.

WOW! Did anyone first see the wreck where Dario Franchitti spun out and Gunselman T BONED him in the drivers door when Dario was down on the grass'?? Dario ended up breaking his ankle. Jimmy Spencer said it was the MOST STUPID MOVE by Gunselman. And then how about Kevin Lepage, pulling up in front of the leaders, who were going 180 mph, when he was going about 80 mph. WOW.
