On the weekend of 19 – 21 September 2008 there was a technical seminar in the southern part of the Netherlands. Around 70 participants from Belgium and around Netherlands were present. Master Willy van de Mortel, 7th Degree and Technical Director of ITF-Netherlands invited Mr. Mariusz Steckiewicz, 6th degree of Polish origin, now living in Finland, to conduct this seminar, as he did in 2003 and 2004....

Master Tran Trieu Quan, president of the ITF, is pleased to announce the appointment of his new assistant: Ms Dao Thi Chung. Ms Chung will replace, from September 8th 2008, Mr. Maxime Bujold who will return to study at the school of dentist in Laval University after two years serving at the ITF President office.

Well, it's coming down to the wire ladies and gentleman - three more days until I fight and two more days until I weigh in. Weigh-ins for me, as of now, is really the only thing I’m focused on. I have about 6 more pounds to go. The day I weigh in, I plan to be no more than 3 or 4 pounds over. Beware, you don't want to be around me these last couple of days before I weigh in, I may be a little grumpy....

For the first time since General Choi’s last visit in 1990, the ITF has sent instructors to Vietnam for the “1st ITF seminar” held in the city of Ho Chi Minh, formerly known as Saigon. Vietnam was one of the 9 founding countries of the ITF in 1966. We are having a great time as a family at the 2008 Olympic Games. It is so great having our parents here and we have been able to spend a little time with them.
