Despite buying three defenders in the final days of the transfer window, Martin O'Neill has cobbled together the Premier League's best back line Signing three defenders within five days of the transfer window closing and giving them all debuts in the same match should, in theory, be a recipe for disaster. It is confirmed on the Manchester City website and what a nice looking website it is, so that is good enough for me as I'm sure out club will confirm it very soon. Dunne arrives to shore up our central defence and as I hinted yesterday, Martin O'Neill may very well see him as a replacement to Martin Laursen, he is certainly the type of player that fits the bill.
