At this rate Cardiff will soon rank alongside Cork in the affections of Roy Keane. After beginning his career as Ipswich manager with a 3-0 win in the last match at Ninian Park, he visited the Cardiff City Stadium for the first time and again left victorious courtesy of Jon Stead's late winner. Ipswich's prospects of extending their unbeaten run to seven Championship games looked poor when Peter Whittingham...

STERN John would never pass a medical, but Ipswich Town manager Roy Keane is convinced he is the right man to give his side a December boost. The 33-year-old Trinidad and Tobago international was signed on loan until December 29 from Crystal Palace on Thursday night and is expected to make his debut in the Championship fixture at Cardiff City tomorrow (kick-off 3pm).

Prediction Risking relegation Blackpool Manager Ian Holloway One to watch...

Whatever happened to loyalty in football? Gone are the days when players would ply their trade at the same club no matter the circumstances surrounding the club. With Saint's relegation to League One, all the big names, with the exception of Kelvin Davis and Adam Lallana , seem to to be queuing at the door to leave. Stern John today turned down a very generous offer to stay at St Marys and will look...
