A Lousy Way For DC United’s Patrick Crayton To Make The Papers

Lest anyone believe racial abuse in soccer is limited to the continental scene, the Washington Post’s Steven Goff reports on an incident that occured after DC United’s scoreless draw at Houston. US MNT Call-Ups

Ives is reporting that forward Robbie Rodgers and midfielder Pablo Mastroeni receved injuries over the weekend and will be replaced by Chicago Fire's Chris Rolfe and Columus Crew's (and DC United Alum) Brian Carroll. Rodgers wasn't likely to get the start but probably could have gotten a few minutes. Mastroeni was likely to start at holding midfielder and this puts Bob Bradley in a bit of a quandry....

Lifetime Ban…

For the person who yelled a racially offensive comment at DC United Keper Louis Crayton in Houston. Credit goes out to the Houston Dynamo security for nabbing the person responsible. They should never be allowed in an MLS event ever again. This is something that you just cannot do in American sports. [...]

Can Someone Do More Than Ban Him?

Know what's hysterical? Racial epithets. Seriously. Try it. Walk up the next black person you see and call him the N-word. Or if that's a skosh much for you, maybe just call him a 'speakchucker' or 'jungle bunny.' Hilarity will ensue. Ridiculous right? Well, that's what happened to DC United keeper Louis Crayton after the team's scoreless draw against the Dynamo in Houston last night (Sunday). Somehow...

Five Down, Three To Go

Congrats to Major League Soccer. Really, for once a playoff race actually has meant something from week one to the end of the season. Usually by now we have at least six or seven clubs already in the playoffs with one or two going for the final spot. This year however is completely different. Right now [...]

Stay Classy H Town

My DC United friends have problems with the team's goalie, Louis Crayton, but it has to do with his sporadic play and gambling style in goal. The team has been slumping and needs victories in their last 2 matches to make the MLS playoffs. East Coast elitists are so warped that we actually judge human beings on their merits, instead of ethnic backgrounds. People in Texas have other disturbing issues...
