Former Drury standout Cody Reinberg is featured in the Patriot News When Cody Reinberg arrived at preseason training camp in mid-March, he was no different than any of the other first-year players the Harrisburg City Islanders have thoroughly checked out during their tremendously efficient six-year run in the USL Second Division. Spurred on by the memory of one of the biggest upsets in the history of the U.S. Open Cup, the Harrisburg City Islanders gave D.C. United a fretful final 25 minutes on Wednesday night. But unlike the 2007 meeting between the two teams, United found the board early and held on for a 2-1 victory in the U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals at Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds. Harrisburg, which plays in USL2, eliminated...

Unlike Goff last week, I took the not-so-scenic I-270 route and paid for it with some wonderful rush hour traffic. Still, not the worst commute ever, but I got out of Arlington...

Marc Burch and Clyde Simms remember the game well, even though it's one they would rather forget. Along with Devon McTavish, Burch and Simms are the only current D.C. United players who were on the field when the Harrisburg City Islanders of USL2 upset the club 1-0 in the U.S. Open Cup in Landisville, Pa., on July 11, 2007. The four-time MLS Cup winners were humiliated in their opening game in the...
