So, by now, you all know that RSL has a new president -- Bill Manning, formerly of the Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Rockets, Tampa Bay Mutiny, Minnesota Thunder, Long Island Rough Riders (hee!), and the CISL. It even made SI.com and everything. My first reaction was to go, "Huh. This guy's had more jobs than I've had!" (which is saying something) and then wonder if any of this president stuff...

The first round of the US Open Cup is all but done as 13 of the 14 games have been decided. The biggest surprise of all the matches happened in El Paso where the PDL's Patriots beat Miami FC of the USL First Division in penalty kicks.
