KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Robin Soderling cruised into the quarter-finals of the Malaysian Open on Wednesday by beating Brendan Evans of the United States 6-1, 6-1. Soderling never lost a point on his booming first serve and broke the American five times to wrap up the win in less than an hour.
