Kelly Lynch , of Severna Park and Chartwell Country Club, rallied from 4-down through 11 holes to defeat 15-year-old Elyse Smidinger , of Crofton and Crofton CC, 1 up, in the 88th Maryland State Women's Amateur Championship at Old South CC. Lynch, a James Madison University junior, had lost five in a six-hole stretch before starting a comeback, Three-down after 14, she won the last four holes. ...
