... laughter (as least in the over flow room). The question was asked to John Krugh, Vice President of Bob Perry Homes who wrote the bill that created the commission and who was appointed to the Commission by Governor Perry. He just sat there with an incredibly stupid look on his face, frozen in place. He eventually got bailed out by Duane Waddill, the Executive Director, who is fighting...

State Representative John Davis, a 10-year republican incumbent in the NASA area, raised only $49,000 according to his 30-day out campaign finance report , almost half, $22,500, of which came from one single donor, home builder Bob Perry. Course just because the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission recommended that the Texas Residential Construction Commission be abolished doesn't mean it will happen. After all, there's a lot more money Bob Perry can dish out to willing Texas legislators that may convince them to.......

... to comply with the law and ensure that subcontractors they use hire legal workers. Wonder what Bob Perry, the homebuilder, thinks of Senator Boner's idea? He donated $25,000 to Patrick's campaign and is not in favor of immigrant bashing. In fact Perry wrote an editorial which stated: Not only that, but immigrant workers renew and reinvigorate America. They remind us what it's like...

What hasn’t become legend yet, but hopefully will soon, is what he’s gotten for all that money. The first thing, and probably, the most egregious was what Republican Comptroller Carol Strayhorn in 2006...
