The line-ups have been announced. For Newcastle United Obafemi Martins will start upfront with Damien Duff supporting him, whilst Alan Smith will start the 90minutes on the bench. For Manchester United, as predicted Wayne Rooney will start the match after recovering from a virus, Tevez has not been named.

We have no idea if Alan Smith is going to stay at the Tyneside club. but if he does Kevin Keegan thinks he can follow the example set by Damien Duff, to get himself back into the fans’ good books. read more

SOCCER: DAMIEN DUFF'S security at Newcastle United is under renewed scrutiny after it appears Duff was included in negotiations aimed at Newcastle acquiring Stephen Warnock from Blackburn Rovers. It is not known if a straight swap deal was proposed but Duff's name has been mentioned.
