IPSWICH Town could make one last ditch effort to sign David Nugent, even if it is just initially on loan. Although the striker has been reluctant to leave Fratton Park and drop down a division, Harry Redknapp has made it clear he has no future there and he will be better off playing regular football in the Championship than rotting in the reserves.

PORTSMOUTH boss Harry Redknapp has been told he must sell players, including Ipswich Town target David Nugent before he can bring in any more. Redknapp has made it clear to Nugent that he has no future at Fratton Park and this could hasten Nugent's departure.
