He was one of the top pitcher prospects the Mariners traded to the Orioles along with Adam Jones for Erik Bedard. Anyways, here is an interesting interview with him that happened on Baseball Digest Daily Live. Chris Tillman comes in at the 19 minute mark, so you might want to let it load first and then scroll over.

Seeing as how the Mariners really suck this season, I've kind of stopped paying attention to them. Of course, because of that, I forgot just how bad the team really is. Thankfully the three games I just saw them play against the White Sox in Chicago this week reaffirmed everything I previously knew. One of the reasons the Mariners are so horrible this season can be attributed to the Erik Bedard

Chris Tillman tops Baseball America’s Prospect Hot Sheet this week. You might remember Tillman from such trades as Jones-Sherrill-Mickolio-Tillman to the Orioles for Erik Bedard. Tillman’s fanned nearly ten hitters per nine innings at AA this year while allowing a mere nine homers in 118.2 innings, Sherrill’s saved 31 games, Jones has hit better than (I [...]

Four months ago, these three teams were the buzz of the baseball’s AL: the Tigers traded for Miguel Cabrera, so they’d be in great shape; the Indians were one game away from the World Series in 2007 (even Jon Heyman fell for it!), and the Mariners plucked Erik Bedard from the Orioles, giving them a [...]

Second baseman says it's probably 'safe assumption' that he won't discuss extension with O's once spring training starts in February Brian Roberts and Erik Bedard share the same agent, so the Orioles' second baseman is well aware of the nightmarish season his former teammate has experienced after he was traded to the Seattle Mariners. Roberts also remains close friends with his old double play partner...

Many many many thanks to Red for the opportunity to enjoy some primo seating at last night's game along with Ms Red (I don't know if you want your name floating around here if it's not already) and Graham. Blowouts like this one was are usually quite unentertaining to watch in person, but lucky for us we have seats close enough to the Mariners dugout where our ribbing could easily be heard during...

The day after the trading deadline, Erik Bedard was still a Mariner, though evidence of his presence has been tough to find lately.

It's been a while. Where should we begin? Feels like forever . Yeah that's some Creed, wanna fighdabouddit? The 2008 rivalry between the Seattle Mariners and Baltimore Orioles really started on February 8, 2008. That was the day we traded Erik Bedard to the hopeful Mariners, who thought their 88-74 season in '07 was no fluke (it was), and that Bedard probably pushed them into serious contention (he...

On Feb. 8, the Mariners made one of their most significant trades of this decade when they sent top organizational prospect Adam Jones, setup man George Sherrill and three minor league pitching prospects to the Baltimore Orioles for left-handed starter Erik Bedard. At the time of the deal, manager John McLaren stated: Bedard is a guy that we've looked at all winter. He fits in right at the top of the...

Dan Graziano of the Newark Star-Ledger has a new Trade Winds column. Graziano notes how incredible the Erik Bedard trade could look for Baltimore if they spin George Sherrill for prospects. He names the Cardinals, Rays, Marlins, and Red Sox as suitors. The Mets fear Sherrill's price tag, while the Yankees don't expect a deal within the division. The Yankees haven't spoken to the Reds about Bronson...
