Construction begins at last on Farmington Hills skate park

Officials broke ground Monday for a skate park in Farmington Hills that, once built, could attract competitors from miles around. About 100 people turned out for the groundbreaking, including City Council members and Mayor Jerry Ellis. Jesse Allen, 12, of Farmington can't wait for the park to open.
