Yesterday, two Brazilian drivers (Nelson Piquet Jr and Felipe Massa) could take place on the podium after the German Grand Prix. It has been since 1991 that this occurred. On 25 August 1991, Ayrton Senna and Nelson Piquet (sr.) were number 1 and 3 at Spa-Francorchamps.

Formula One points leader Ferrari’s Felipe Massa set the pace despite crashing out during the first practice session for Sunday’s British Grand Prix. Massa, the Brazilian who leads the Formula One standings by two points, climbed out of his car a few minutes after the crash and did not appear to be hurt.
