Really? Is this helpful? Aligning yourselves against a popular mayor who’s trying to continue hard reforms in the District by punishing gross incompetence? When everyone in the city is sick to death of the status quo, defending the status quo is not a good way improve people’s opinion of you.

(Side note: let's all agree to apply some standards of objectivity and reasonableness in the use of...

When asked by News Hour reporter John Merrow about the union’s opposition,...

... art and musical performers. Radio would offer better options in addition to WPFW and NPR. Mayor Fenty (or myself) would have a personal supply of lightning bolts at his disposal to punish any motorists who wander into the bike lane. The Fourth of July would once again be the ultimate celebration of anarchy it was when I was a child—basically do away with the ‘no open container’ law. read...

... kids. Do you doubt it? Then consider what African-American Mayors Cory Booker of Newark and Adrian Fenty of Washington, DC, said in Denver Sunday. "Ten years ago," said Booker, "I was literally brought into a broom closet by a union and told I would never win office if I kept talking about charters." He meant charter schools, of course - anathema to the teachers' unions. Fenty assailed...
